View Plan - You can create a scheduled maintenance plan for each truck you have that needs routine or regular work done
To add a new plan item, click the ‘View plans’ button
- You can select either “New Calendar Maintenance Plan” or “New Mileage Maintenance Plan”
If selecting New Calendar Maintenance Plan:
- Enter a title for the plan (and a description if desired)
- A start date for the plan is required (use the calendar icon to select start date)
- An end date is optional (use the calendar icon to select end date
- You can choose between days, weeks, or months and enter the interval and Interval period. (example: if you are wanting to schedule an oil change every 3 months, you will enter 3 in the interval section, and below that select Months.
- Select a unit(s) that you want on this plan There is also a “select all” and “deselect all” button at the bottom.
- Click Save. You will now get a Status Update alert on your Dashboard when the calendar date is reached.
If selecting New Mileage Maintenance Plan:
- Enter a title for the plan (and a description if desired)
- Enter the mileage interval (example: if you want to have an oil change done every 3000 miles, you would enter 3000 in the mileage interval section.
- Select a unit(s) that you want on this plan. There is also a “select all” and “deselect all” button at the bottom.
- Click save
- If you click on Dashboard, under “status” you will now see “maintenance plan with deadline approaching. You will need to click “view” then “create log” and create a maintenance log with that particular truck, the maintenance vendor, the amount, the plan, the date, and you will enter the odometer that the truck had during the repair.
- Now, when you create your dispatch (trips if you’re on pro) you will enter the odometer (located beneath the truck section) and you will receive dashboard alerts when the truck gets within 300 miles of the interval you’ve selected.
List Maintenance Vendors - This will present you with the address list of companies you’ve used to maintenance your trucks. You can also find this information by clicking settings > addresses > then the maintenance vendors button.
