Positioning compliance malfunction: This occurs when the ELD is unable to obtain a valid position measurement within five miles of the truck moving and during a 60 minute period.
- How to Resolve: Make sure that the device that you’re using has location permissions set to “always” instead of “while using this app”. Click on Settings, then Privacy, then Location Services. Within the list of apps, locate the TruckingOffice ELD App. Make sure it is set to “Always”.
