Question: I added a User and he/she cannot access some parts of the site or data. Why is that?
Answer: When you add a User, there are boxes you must check to define Roles the User will have in the software. A Role defines the parts of the account you want them to have access to and be able to enter data and make changes. The four Roles are:
1) Company Owner The person who originally created the account with TruckingOffice is automatically the Company Owner and has full access to the account including Profile and subscription info.
2) Dispatch Can access and change dispatches, carriers, dashboard functions, drivers, units, and addresses.
3) Mechanic Can access and change maintenance logs/plans/vendors, units, addresses and plans.
4) Accounting Can access and change dispatches, dashboard functions, expenses, bills, invoices, maintenance vendors, reports and addresses.
