Question: I dispatch trucks and have to pay a driver and the truck’s owner as well as get paid myself, how can I do that in your system?
Answer: Enter the Driver’s information and pay him like normally do. We are going to treat the owner of the truck like a second driver so he can be paid his portion of the dispatch. Click on the blue ‘Add driver’ and create a new driver under the owner’s name. Of course he isn’t driving a truck, but he will receive his percentage of the pay and you can run a Driver Settlement report to pay him.

Great!! but how can I also get paid myself as dispcher too?
I have the same ?? as above plus when giving a raise mid year will that fig you paid the driver the high pay all year,
You can only set up 1 or 2 drivers to be paid on a dispatch. When you create a dispatch, it uses the current settings for the driver to determine his pay rate for that dispatch. It won't change any dispatches in the past unless you go and edit those past dispatches. When you edit a past dispatch, the system will look at his current rate and recalculate it only if it has changed.
How can I add deductions for drivers and OO from the pay settlements?
Like insurance fees/quick pay fees etc?
Hi,
The system doesn't differentiate between O/O from company drivers at this time. We will improving those features in the summer. Right now you can export the driver settlement to an excel sheet, add rows or columns and deduct them manually from their pay.
Some subscribers pay their drivers every Friday and will just total up their deductions for insurance, trailer rental, etc and enter the total as a negative under driver accessory pay on the last dispatch of every pay period. This will reduce his pay by that amount.
I recommend the first suggestion since it will break down the deductions on his pay. We will have those abilities to create deductions for O/O soon.
Thank you,
Todd
Any update on this??

It will be supper nice if you add 3rd driver option so that I can use the 3rd driver as my dispatch fee. now I kill lot of time every week figuring my dispatch %. The only option I have is to copy loads to excel and even that gives me more headache when there is lumper of detention with that load because I don't want my dispatch add lumper fees!!. now I'm worrying more as the holiday peak season approaching and more teams are on the way!! Any solution guys?
