Richard,  I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble.  If you are in the dispatch screen and entering dispatch information you should be able to use the down arrow and see the "create new driver" button.  After you click on that the window will open.  Then enter in all your driver information.  When you get done and click the "save" button the driver name is in the driver text box.  Then you are done with that, and can move on.  The next time you create a dispatch just start to type the driver name then click on the driver that you want to use.  Entering a truck works the same way.  When you enter your next dispatch the truck info will fill in automatically after you choose the driver.

Andrew, that is a good question.  Yes you can log in from any computer.  You can also have as many users as you want to.  If you click on "profile" at the top right you will be able to add users.  After you enter a new user then email him his log in info.  When he logs in he will be able to go to the profile page and change his password if he wants to.  Let me know if you guys have any more trouble with this.

This is such an amazing system you have created!  We have run our many businesses for 25 years. We have done everything through Quickbooks or manual Spreadsheets just as you had done for your business. As we added in trucking we were overwhelmed by all the different items that had to be juggled simultaneously. We are going to give your system a try as it appears it will solve our office management needs.

Thank you, John and Cindi Milton

John and Cindi, thank you for the kind remarks.  As you begin to set up your TruckingOffice please let us know what we can do to improve our services.  If you find that you can't do something that you need to be able to do, add a suggestion in the "Feature Request" page.  I will pass your suggestions on to the development team, and we will get them added.

Wow. I am truly amazed at how well this system has assisted me in working through the mountains of paperwork. I am a 911 Supervisor and recently turned trucker's wife who has been completely overwhelmed by the paperwork, tracking and amount of work it takes to run even a single truck. I would like to first commend all of you out there that undertake this field for a living. I have been truly educated on the difficulty and sacrifices made so that I can go to a grocery store and pick something up. Secondly, I want to thank Trucking Office for allowing me to utilize such a great system. I too attempted to use general services such an intuit and wow what an upgrade. I look forward to growing with trucking office in the next few years.

Why is there no help for each screen?  What do I put in the initial start field?  There should be a file somewhere with a : step one enter trucks screen, step to enter drivers screen, step three...  With a help icon at each field so you know what is supposed to go there.

Also, I wanted to start with my records from the beginning of the year to see how that changes my IFTA taxes using fake miles as opposed to real hub miles.  I would think it would lower my fuel mileage, in effect raising my taxes.

So far this is very frustrating.  At least I always have access to my records with my spreadsheet system, my other concern is when I don't have internet access, I won't have access to my records?

    Hello,

Click on Support, then Training, then Dispatches.  There is a detailed step-by-step guide on how to enter a dispatch and what to enter in the initial start field. Open this page up in another tab or window so you can read it as your entering the dispatch.

You can start your records at the beginning of the year to see how that changes your IFTA taxes.

If you don't have access to the internet, you won't have access to your records.  However, they will be safe and secure.  You won't lose your files if your laptop is stolen or hard drive crashes.

If the step-by-step guide doesn't answer all your questions, do not hesitate to call, email, or chat with us.

800-253-9647 8-5 EST, help@truckingoffice.com, the chat window is in the lower right of your screen.

    Thank you

This whole program is NOT user friendly.

I should be able to utilize it easily without getting a degree in computer science.

I cannot afford to pay someone to use this program who has such a degree.I am a one man trucking operation.
