Inactive Units

Is there a way for inactive units to not show up anymore in the reporting feature? I download and export my Road Tax miles every week for settlements into an excel spreadsheet for calculation purposes, and then have to delete all the inactive trucks back out of the report each time. Some of these trucks have been out of our fleet for over 3 years. Even though they are marked as inactive they still show up on the reports.
