IFTA/IRP audit - info requested which is difficult to obtain.
Currently going through an IFTA/IRP audit. It is flat out a pain…Thought it would be easier with this program, but unfortunately I cannot give the auditor what they need without taking extensive time on my part.
The auditor requested ALL of my trips within the highest 2 IFTA quarters of the 2 year IRP time span they chose. There isn't an option to export the data they need. Each trip has to be manually uploaded/emailed or printed out. There are many trips this has to be done with and I'm only a 1 truck operation. The information that can be exported currently will NOT suffice to an IFTA audit.
Fuel expenses are the same way. Other than gallon and expense totals, there is no way to mass pull (in detail) all entered fuel data. I gave the auditor all receipts acquired for the period instead since the software doesn't provide a viable option.
I've spent the last 4-5hrs compiling and emailing all the information requested for the auditor…my question is this, would it be possible to create a way to download ALL trip(s) information within a selected time range? As in, the departing address, the destination address, any fuel stops, additional routing destinations (if there are any), total mileage for the trip (loaded/empty) and for each state traveled, etc. That info is there currently, we ust need a way to pull it from the screen within the selected date range.
*When I spoke with the service rep earlier today, she recommended I get on this support forum with any issues I had. Thanks in advance

I'd like to see this software better geared toward audits also.

I enjoy the rest of the program. It does exactly what I need (with some quirks no doubt) and provides all the info for CPM at the click of a button. This audit deal however has shown it's faults. I truly hope TruckingOffice has a solution to this. I would have to imagine this isn't the first time the audit disadvantages of this program have been mentioned.
TruckingOffice, I was told to share this on your support board as it is regularly monitored by you. Please respond with some insight to this situation. It would be great to have an update to share .

There is an audit report for each trip that has the required info for an audit. We are going to build a report that contains all of the trips for a truck for a specific date range to make it easier to compile the info for the auditor.

Thank you for the response and look forward to the new setup. Finally (after 2months) we completed the audit, which did go well, but was difficult to obtain all the needed info with the current way the site works. If a date range can be added, it should reduce the amount of effort to obtain the info needed substantially. Thanks again.
